Andalucía Emprende signs an agreement with the town hall of Benalmadena for a cession of 400 meters space in Benalmadena Pueblo for a period of 20 years.
'Today is an important day for our town, this agreement will allow the town hall to make use of this space for the benefit of citizens. We plan to have a new library in this space and we wish to say a big thank you to “Andalucia Emprende” for this assignment which will benefit the inhabitants of Benalmadena' said the mayor of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas.
The mayor added that they are already working to make the new library as soon as possible. Apart from the library this space will host as well a co-working space for business accommodation of 200 square meters. Which will expand the existing infrastructure to support programmes for the promotion of business initiatives and general employment policies in Benalmadena.
This new space will reinforce the services for entrepreneurs and companies already provided in four offices on the Costa del Sol: in Benalmadena (Innova), Marbella, Estepona and Mijas Costa and two information points in Fuengirola and Torremolinos.
In Benalmadena with the help of Andalucia Emprende from 2009 until 2015, 658 new companies were created generating 884 new jobs, with investment of more than 6 milion euros.
