The Councillor for Foreign Residents, Ana Scherman, visited two foreign associations based in Benalmádena: Royal British Legion and Age Care Association. The RBL meeting was attended by about 20 people, which addressed various issues of interest, such as a register, municipal taxes or cultural issues. This association meets every Monday at 10:30 a.m. In the bar The Lounge, in Bonanza Avenue.

The Age Care Association, is another non-profit association founded in 2001 to help English-speaking elderly people living alone or with limited resources. This group meets on Mondays at 11.00, in the bar 'Pitanzas' of the square of Bonanza.
