'Tapas' in White Villages

Saturday, the 30th of January 2010

Price 28 €

The purpose of this trip is to visit significant places in the region of Andalusia and to taste the typical dishes of each area. The well-known snacks of the taverns in days gone by are nowadays a delicious aperitif, known as “Tapas” shared by friends chatting and spending pleasant moments together!

To begin with, we will visit an enchanting little village Almogía, situated in the Mountains of Malaga, where we will taste the typical delights of this lovely spot, appreciate its charm and spectacular setting.

This interesting route will continue towards Villanueva de la Concepción another typical village of our region, driving through the most lovely places and then taking a stroll through its quant, narrow streets, where we shall taste our second “Tapa” of the day with a drink of our choice.

After visiting Villanueva de Concepción we will drive to Antequera, a town of great historical interest. Here we will visit some of its more emblematic sites, including the ancient part of the town. To finish, we will taste our last “Tapa” of the day, consisting of our marvellous and famous “Paella” and its corresponding beverage.
