Veiled Voices is a show that tries to give visibility to these six artists: Betty Comden and Carolyn Leigh (lyricists of jazz standards and Broadway musicals), Blossom Dearie (performer, pianist and composer), Ann Richards, Chris Connor and June Christy (singers). All of them demonstrated great talent and great creative capacity.

The show will include a series of projections (photographs and videos) that will place the viewer in the social, work and artistic context where the story develops. Small scenes will also be dramatized, where the experiences and anecdotes of the six artists will be intermingled with the memories and experiences of María Esteban. The concert format is, in this way, theatricalized and enriched with a multimedia dialogue that pays tribute to these heroines of Jazz, those Veiled Voices.
