Who wouldn't like a meeting to talk about archaeology? If you are as passionate about this discipline as we are, join this monthly meeting in which we will discuss topics proposed by our collaborators.

In the last Indiana Jones movie we could see an artifact called the “dial of destiny,” but did you know that this object is based on a real one? We will chat both about the Antikythera mechanism, a mysterious engineering device from Ancient Greece, and about other OOPARTS (Out of Place Artifacts) or objects out of time that have been bothering archaeologists for decades. The talk will be coordinated by Marta Aguado.
