MUSEUM TREASURES: Myths: stories or magical realism?
From 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
The Pre-Columbian Museum hides many secrets in its showcases, do you want to discover them with us? In these thematic visits we will approach the Museum's collection through different perspectives.
In May, on the occasion of the Story Marathon we will open the debate on the essence of myths: are they simple stories or did they symbolize something more for the ancient inhabitants of America? Using pieces from the Museum, we will analyze some pre-Columbian myths to investigate the meaning of these stories for the cultures that created them, as well as our current vision of them.
