Throughout history, women have been condemned to occupy a secondary role simply because of their feminine condition. In the case of art, they will only have a leading role in the nude, turning them into objects of desire for the taste of the time. Reducing them to a mere passive entity will be one of the conquests that the struggle by artists aims for, as well as occupying the active space in the art world, offering a broader vision of the body and the power of women.

This conference seeks to return to the origin of the term feminist and to ensure that we do not forget that being on the side of the fight for equality is being in the right place. We will take a tour of the creations of these women and how their work became a weapon with which to demonstrate that they have much to contribute to the world and to art.
