Fashion exhibitions seem to be making a strong entrance into the art scene. Museums in New York, London, Madrid, and Paris pay tribute to great designers. This leads us to ask the question: is fashion an art? Are designers artists? Obviously, not all designers possess an artistic spirit that allows them to exhibit their work in museums as if their pieces were sculptures or paintings. However, sometimes, when we see some creations, we immediately wonder whether they belong on a runway or in an exhibition hall.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is capable of crossing and transcending the boundaries and limits of fashion to reach art in its deepest sense.
