SPAIN IN AMERICA. RECIPROCAL TRACES OF PAST AND FUTURE
From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Who wouldn't love a meeting to talk about history? If you're as passionate about this discipline as we are, join this monthly meeting where we'll discuss topics proposed by our collaborators. You can participate in this expedition into the past as an attendee or speaker.
This conference was developed over an 11-month trip to different South American countries. It explores some of the historical milestones that unite Spain and America following the meeting of worlds that took place in 1492. Spain, as a civilization nurtured by millennia of the presence of other cultures, fostered a type of reciprocal cultural, artistic, social, and spiritual fusion unprecedented in human history. Presentation by Ángel Arenas, humanist, anthropologist, and social innovator.
