Benalmadena's Public Works and Maintenance department is working on more than 20 jobs across the municipality, most of them on the coast and in Arroyo de la Miel.
More than 100 workers from the town hall and from the special Neighbourhood and Urbanisation Improvement scheme are carrying out work to meet demands from locals. Among the works scheduled, in arroyo de la Miel pavements are being improved on the Avenida de la Constitución, by Restaurante Faro, Avenida Obsidiana and avenida Herrera Oria, where workers are widening the pavements. Once this is done, parking spaces on Calle Huerta Peralta will be re-organized to allow the pavement to be widened.
