The mayor and councilor for Foreign Residents of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas, has participated in the celebration of the Remembrance Day, which took place in La Paloma Park. It is celebrated every November 11, the date that marked the end of World War I in 1918, to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war.
Due to the health security measures established in the face of the pandemic, the event has had a very small number of people. In addition to the mayor, the event was attended by Prisca Vanier Clapisson, representative of the Union des Français de l’Etranger; the President of the Royal British Legion, Neal Adam Toplis; the representative of ‘The Welsh Society’ Costa del Sol, Gary Benham; and the representative of the Irish Association, Terry McKinley
