The mayor of Benalmádena, Víctor Navas; and the Councilor for Beaches, Encarnación Cortés, visited the works of the new pedestrian access to Carvajal beach to check the progress of the works.
'This action is part of the important battery of investments launched this year to put our beaches at the level they deserve, providing them with more stability, better services and quality, and which represent a global investment of close to 2 million euros', the mayor said.
'We are creating this new access to improve accessibility to Carvajal beach, the works are progressing at a good pace: they are scheduled to be completed by the end of April', Cortés explained.
This summer, Carvajal beach will be fully accessible for people with reduced mobility, which is the main objective of this action.
