Last Wednesday, the Mayor of Benalmadena, Juan Antonio Lara and the Councillor for Tourism and Foreign Residents, Presi Aguilera, met with representatives of various groups of foreign residents at the Town Hall in orden to express their support and commitment.

The mayor emphasized the importance of establishing the main lines of collaboration between the City Council and foreign residents 'to work towards the integration of different nationalities in all areas of our society, so that they feel like they are in their country, where they can enjoy their festivals and traditions, their culture and their religion; and where they share with all of us our culture and customs, our lifestyle and all the riches of this privileged land that unites us all.

A group that represents roughly 30% of Benalmadena´s population and is made up fo more than 140 nationalities.
