The mayor of Benalmádena, Juan Antonio Lara, accompanied by councillor Mara Luisa Robles and those in charge of the Benalmádena Sports Palace, has invited neighbours and visitors to join the activities scheduled for October 27 in the complex's facilities and to welcome the ice rink, which will have a massive opening ceremony.

The centre has planned a skating exhibition, a visit from Cristian Vaquero (Spanish Junior champion and fourth in Senior), as well as numerous activities such as face painting, entertainment, music with a DJ, and raffles for the big opening party.

'We have prepared a grand opening party for everyone who wants to skate or learn to come, all with a lot of guided activities', said Enrique Cantillo, one of the sports complex´s partners.

Cantillo emphasised that 'without local administration, everything is impossible, and the support we find is basic for us.' As a result, individuals of all ages, from 3-year-old youngsters to those over 70, will be allowed to engage in the activity for free until capacity is achieved.
