Presi Aguilera, acting mayor and councillor of Urban Planning, met with a delegation from the Chinese city of Dongying yesterday to discuss various projects, including the Friendship Park, Marina expansion, Benalmádena Pueblo's House of Culture, and expansion of the Arroyo de la Miel Sports Centre.

Aguilera emphasised the significance of this meeting in addressing major projects sought by the Benalmádena City Council, as well as reaching out to Chinese tourists interested in experiencing more than just shopping and visiting tourist attractions.

According to the acting mayor, this delegation is crucial for Benalmádena as the two cities are twinned and have strong ties.
